The product is a lot of 39 uncirculated Presidential 3 Coin Sets from 2007 to 2016, totaling 117 coins. Each set includes coins featuring different Presidents from George Washington through Ronald Regan.
2007-2016 + 2020 (George Bush, Sr.) Presidential Dollar Philadelphia & Denver 119 Coin Complete Uncirculated & Proof Set with P&D Coins in New Dansco (Includes Satin Finish Coins from 2007 - 2010) Up for sale is a 119 coin Presidential Dollar set including all 40 presidents released as part of the now complete Presidential Dollar series to date from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.(2007 to 2016, Washington to Ford + Reagan + 2020 George Bush Sr.): Note that there is no President Carter coin as the mint will not produce one (even though the Dansco Album has a hole for the Carter P&D coins. There are also no presidential dollars for President Bill Clinton or presidents after George Bush Sr.). All of the P&D coins have been carefully taken from uncirculated US Mint Rolls/Mint Sets and placed in a new Dansco Album. The 2007 through 2010 coins are the "satin" strike" coins from the US Mint set and are generally of higher quality than the coins from rolls. Since 2011 these coins have not been released into general circulation and have only been obtainable via purchase directly from the US Mint in rolls/bags at a premium and therefore it is not an easy task assembling an entire uncirculated set and the mintages are low. All of the 39 proof coins are still in their original mint lenses (though without boxes or certificates of authenticity) and do NOT fit into the Dansco Album (as the Dansco album is designed only for the P&D regular non-proof coins). Note that while there have been 40 presidential dollar designs minted by the US, because of COVID there was no 2020 George HW Bush proof coin (the mint released the regular business strike P&D George HW Bush coins in 2020). The 80 P&D coins are all placed in a new Dansco album. The Dansco album includes pictures of all of the presidents as well as information on each of the presidents. Dansco albums have become scarce in the past few years due to difficulties with the manufacturer. Note that these are uncirculated business strike coins and due to the minting process even coins straight from the mint and out of the mint wrapped rolls may contain marks, scratching or staining. This is normal for these coins. The Presidential $1 Coin Program honors former presidents of the United States. Beginning with George Washington, each year the U.S. Mint releases four new coins with portraits of the former presidents on the obverse. The reverse of the coin shows the Statue of Liberty. The program stipulates only deceased presidents are eligible to be honored in the program. The motto "In God We Trust" was controversially placed on the edge of the coin. Some 2007 Presidential dollars were mistakenly issued without lettering on the edges, and the U.S. Mint then decided to place the motto on the obverse. Presidential dollars have a pure copper inner core and an outer layer made of 77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese and 4% nickel. They measure 26.5 mm in diameter, and each weighs 8.10 grams. The Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005 made provisions for $10 Gold Bullion coins representing the first spouses to correspond with the release of the Presidential Dollars. To make these designs accessible to more people, Congress also approved the striking of bronze medals that "bear the likeness of the bullion coins." Once the gold coin is designed, adjustments are made for the bronze medal series. The medals are not legal tender and elements are not replicated. For instance, the date of issue, the motto, the legend, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA do not appear on the medals. The focus is on the art, a first spouse and the emblematic theme reminiscent of a presidency. Includes slots for Letitia Tyler & Julia Tyler.
