These coins were minted by the U.S. Mint in the United States. Both sides were designed by Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro. The obverse features President Eisenhower, while the reverse depicts the Apollo 11 mission patch of an eagle landing on the moon, with the Earth visible in the background.
